On itch.io I go by ICE Neuron. I started learning game development in 2021: my first game, Counting Down, took eight months in LÖVE; since then I have made six small games in Godot for Trijam, a jam where each game is made in three hours. They all play in the browser.

The games and the video can be loud, so turn the volume down first.

First game · about eight months · Windows / macOS

A rabbit is trapped in a dungeon and has a week to get out, or be trapped forever.

I made all of the art and most of the music myself.

Why I make games

Gameplay

Why did I dive into game development?

Games are my playground: they let players jump in, interact, and become part of the adventure.

Story

What am I trying to say through my games?

I want to tell stories that really hit home, letting players dive deep, uncover emotions, and find their own meaning as they play.

Visual style

Why pixel art?

Pixel art is my jam! I love playing with colour and structure, using simplicity to evoke big feelings while leaving players room to imagine.

Electronic music

Why electronic music?

8-bit beats match pixel art perfectly, setting the mood and adding another layer of emotion to the game world.

Creativity

How do I keep things fresh?

I turn the way I see the world into games, making something that connects with players in its own way.

Social interaction

How do my games stay grounded in real life?

I want the interactions in my games to be a bridge that connects people across ages and places, not something that pulls them away from real life.
